With eight years of professional experience in the film and creative industries, Quincy has proven herself as a versatile and accomplished professional. Having worked in various roles, including costume designer, production designer, cinematographer, editor, writer, producer, and director, her journey showcases a breadth of skills and expertise.
Since relocating to Australia in 2022, Quincy has primarily focused on directing and cinematography, leveraging her diverse skill set to execute each project meticulously. Her portfolio boasts projects that have not only screened locally and internationally but also garnered awards.
Notable works include the Australian TV Series Jack Irish, the first Filipino Netflix Original - Dead Kids, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Series, the narrative film Sanctissima, earning her several Best Production Designer awards in various film festivals, and her award-winning period film Quira.
Quincy's journey began with studying fashion design and dressmaking at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. Alongside her work in print and digital advertising for top brands, she actively participated and showcased her creations at various fashion shows. Moreover, she was a regular panellist for beauty pageants, fashion shows, film and art competitions.
Later, she pursued filmmaking at the International Academy of Film and Television, where she graduated as an outstanding student, receiving both Best Film and Best Director awards. Her excellence in filmmaking was further recognised when she served as the Philippine representative at the Kyoto Filmmakers Lab 2016, hosted by the Kyoto HISTORICA International Film Festival Committee and Kyoto Prefectural Government in Japan, where she was one of two Filipino guarantees chosen from thousands of applicants.
Beyond her creative roles, Quincy successfully managed a video production business. She spearheaded projects for renowned local and international brands, securing projects, managing budgets, hiring creative teams, and overseeing projects from development to post-production. Her creativity, leadership, and business acumen contributed to the success of her ventures, evident in the lasting influence and recognition of her, and her projects achieved within the industry.
